Parkland students Hannah Thomas, Ana Fieno and Samantha Stunkard, all participate in Black Friday. Thomas loves getting normally expensive items for a fraction of the price. Stunkard stands outside of the stores at four in the morning, waiting for the doors to open, and Fieno just enjoys shopping.

Those who do take part in rising early, anticipating the moment when the doors first open should be aware that many accidents have occurred over the years due to customer violence. On Black Friday, there are hundreds of people in the store competing for their share of the discounted items.
