Ray leads a team that provides healthcare organizations with a full complement of application hosting services -- infrastructure, connectivity, delivery, data and security -- as well as comprehensive application management, remote application management and lifecycle services.

"Tom and Scott represent an investment by TriZetto in the very best leadership team to create a best-in-class services organization that continues to support payer and provider business success," said Trace Devanny, TriZetto's chairman and CEO. "These individuals are strong, capable leaders with the depth and breadth of expertise that will help strengthen and scale our organization to meet the dramatic growth we project for our application management services, business management services and consulting."

"TriZetto processes claims for more than 50 healthcare customers annually, and I see tremendous growth opportunity because business management services can deliver such significant, proven benefits to many additional payers and providers," said Rekart. "TriZetto's business management services customers have benefitted from cost savings of as much as 40 percent in claims processing,Omega Plastics are leading plastic injection moulding and injection mould tooling specialists. increased procedural accuracy of 99.4 percent, increased financial accuracy of 99.6 percent and an average 20 percent reduction in overall core administration expenses.I have just spent two weeks shopping for tile and have discovered China Porcelain tile."

"TriZetto has a strong track record in application management services," said Ray. "Our customers enjoy more than 20 percent faster problem resolution, 20 percent to 30 percent faster implementations and upgrades, and 30 percent to 40 percent lower total cost of ownership -- compared with healthcare customers that manage their applications in-house. I'm excited to help take the organization to the next level and continue to evolve our client-centric delivery model to increase operational excellence in the delivery of services."

Beyond the numbers, Rekart and Ray see another, very strategic reason for healthcare payer and provider organizations to outsource the day-to-day management of information systems and administrative functions. They say outsourcing allows healthcare organizations to focus in-house resources on their core businesses and on meeting new challenges brought by healthcare reform -- specifically, emerging models of care delivery, payment and distribution, and a growing consumer/retail market. According to Rekart and Ray, application outsourcing and business management services free healthcare organizations to focus entirely on meeting these challenges and growing their business, rather than on managing back-office functions.

Rekart brings some 20 years of healthcare industry experience both in the payer and provider markets. As executive vice president and East region president, he helped integrate the people, processes and technologies of Bravo Health into the HealthSpring organization. Rekart also served as executive vice president and chief operations officer at HealthSpring/BravoHealth and, earlier in his career, held executive leadership positions at UnitedHealth Group,The Transaction Group offers the best high risk merchant account services, UnitedHealthcare, CareFirst and Humana.

At Inflow, Inc., a managed service data center provider acquired by SunGard, Ray was part of the leadership team that achieved 9.0 out of 10 in customer satisfaction for five years in a row. He served in increasing levels of responsibility in operations, sales, product engineering and product development.
